Apologies, apologies!

I am terribly sorry devoted followers and readers for the lack of posting over the last two weeks, I have been traveling and ill. No excuse I am sure, but I am back with a vengeance and will do my best to get back on track and a devoted schedule of my own to ensure you have many new posts to read at your gentlemanly, or gentlewomanly as it may be, leisure.

So to welcome myself back, I am writing on behalf of any friends that might be going to London some time soon. Now I realize that I am currently in Aspen, but in the spirit of all things British I am not quite done with the little isle that I once called home. That said I am so pleased to say you can shop from the Queenstown Road from the comfort of your home in the USA. What on earth do I speak of? Shipton and Heneage of course! Makers of fine footwear for gentleman and woman of the world. Of course, stateside we are much more aquainted with John Lobb and Church's but why not introduce yet another, slightly better priced, competitor?

My personal favorite, as un-kosher as it may be, is the brown suede Winchester brogue as pictured below. Many of you may have seen me about town in these of late. Well I simply cannot get enough.

However, if you are up on your fashion, you will know that men or many ilks, both great and otherwise have succumbed to the style of wearing patent leather dinner slippers to go out at night. Whether it be to the great clubs of New York, Los Angeles or even London, or its simply to a cocktail party at a friends residence. These most traditional or slippers have grown in popularlity and will continue to do so. If you are a real elitist you might find yourself more inspired to the pair below that.

This pair, are so exclusive, well they are bespoke. And at $325.00 they are quite a bargain. Made to order, made to measure and made to please with your own monograme. Wear them with black-tie tails or even for the more fashion forward with your jeans and Dior Homme tank. You will be the creme de la creme as long as your feet are cushioned in the red satin lining. Ooohs and Aaahs will abound. But you will walk alone in these swank slippers.
